JAWOLL SILKLang Jawoll Silk is a beautiful soft yarn, designed for socks, but this yarn is soft and fine, and also makes great sweaters and shawls.
It is 55% superwash wool, 25% nylon, and 20% silk. It comes in a 100 gram (3½ ounce) ball with a separate spool of reinforcing yarn inserted into the centre of the main ball. The reinforcing yarn is intended to reinforce the heels and toes of socks. It is colour coordinated with the main yarn. Jawoll Silk knits as a three ply yarn. One ball will make a large pair of men's socks.
Six of the shades knit into bands of similar, graduated colours, and the other five shades are self patterning fair isle effects.
There is a Sockology Sock Pattern designed for Lang sock yarns.
Tension: 30 stitches to 10 cm (4 inches) on a 2.2 - 3.5 mm
